Come and hear how the LIIBA community is developing the next generation of insurance talent. And discover how you can get involved with widening the talent pool our market recruits from.

We are all aware, from the statistics in the London Matters reports and other sources, that we have an ageing workforce in the London market that does not reflect our wider society. Over the past year LIIBA has been busy working on a number of diversity and inclusion initiatives to help address this. These are now fully underway. We are now launching an integrated a campaign to spread awareness of this work across the membership and let you know how you can get involved.

Belonging@LIIBA will bring all our work together and focus our future initiatives on our common goals. We would love for you to join us at our launch webinar on Monday 23^rd May from 10am to 11am.

You will hear from the individuals across the community who have helped deliver our successful work so far. They will detail how action based initiatives make a difference and what other resources are available within the London Market. We will present an update on progress and plans for the remainder of 2022 across our three main initiatives:

• STEM Learning – Insurance Industry Insights week. An induction course in London market for school students.
• The Prince’s Trust – Get Into Insurance programme. A two week foundation course for 18-30 year olds.
• upReach – Xperience and Springboard programmes. Sponsoring the next generation of insurance talent through university and providing work experience opportunities.

LIIBA Webinar – PPL Demo Tuesday 3rd May 3pm – 4pm

As many of you will know PPL will be delivering the latest upgrade to the platform in late 2022.

This upgrade is a root and branch rebuild of the platform by a new supplier. Much of the system is now built and being reviewed by the PPL User & Operations Committee; however, we felt that it would be a good opportunity to offer the wider membership a sneak preview of what is coming up.

With this in mind we would like to offer you the opportunity to attend a webinar in conjunction with PPL, giving you the opportunity to see the new and improved platform. The demo will be hybrid but should you wish to join us in person, office space will be limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
