I am pleased to invite you to our webinar on key legal issues to the Client Money Rules. We will be virtually hosting the session on Tuesday 30th June, at 8:00 – 9:00am.

Legal firm Morgan Lewis will deliver an interactive and highly practical session for 60 minutes on the key legal issues and potential pitfalls relating to the client money rules.

Key topics will include:

  • Client money rules:  the regulatory goals and key requirements.
  • Risk transfer arrangements: What are the implications and what contractual provisions are needed?
  • Non-statutory trusts: When should you be using these and what are the operational implications?
  • Dealing with UK and continental European insurers and the impact of Brexit on current client money arrangements.

The session will be delivered remotely by webinar and there will be an opportunity to have your questions answered in this challenging area. If you know what questions you would like to ask in advance of the session, please send them to Jo.Brady@liiba.co.uk by Friday 26th June 2020.
