Immediately following the morning keynote speech of Lloyd’s Chairman John Nelson on 19th May, Lloyd’s will be providing an update down the hall on progress toward enhancing the coverholder experience and achieving the longer term goals of Vision 2025.  The presentation and Q&A with the Chairman is scheduled to run for 45 minutes, ending by 10:30am.

The February session is hosted by David Furber of Xchanging Software Europe Ltd who will be presenting on “Survival of the Fittest – Evolving from EDIFACT to XML”.

ACORD XML is seen as the future of messaging in London, both for new initiatives and to replace existing messages. The transition does not have to be a big-bang event in the future: this session will look at the opportunities for (re)insurers who start evolving now in order to reap the benefits sooner.

► Introducing new innovative solutions which work towards Lloyd’s current efforts to improve business practices
► 25-30mins presentations followed by a 10-15 minute Q&A
► Registration opens at 8.45am for 9.15am start
