Lloyd’s is delighted to invite you to the March Technology Thought Leadership Session on Tuesday 3rd March in the Old Library at Lloyd’s in London. Part of the Vision 2025 is for Lloyd’s distribution chain to be optimised through the efficient use of technology. More specifically, the Corporation’s strategic objectives include a number of technology focused workstreams. Supporting these initiatives, monthly sessions have been scheduled to continue over the course of 2015.

The March session is hosted by Mel Glass of ClusterSeven and Guy Shepherd of Quintant who will be presenting on “Solvency II Reporting. Don’t stumble in the final mile! Finding and filling the gaps.”.

 

Mel Glass is Business Development Manager for ClusterSeven whose clients include a number of Managing Agents and Syndicates as well as major banks, asset managers and energy companies. ClusterSeven technology addresses data risk.

 

 

 

Guy Shepherd is a Director of Quintant Partners with 20 years’ experience developing and implementing insurance technology solutions, working in large insurance groups both directly and as an advisor. The bulk of Guy’s career to date has been spent working for Prudential Assurance where Guy was Head of Actuarial Systems and Head of Business Intelligence.

 

What can you expect from the sessions?

 

► Sharing success stories and lessons learned of technology implementation
► Introducing new innovative solutions which work towards Lloyd’s current efforts to improve business practices
► 25-30mins presentations followed by a 10-15 minute Q&A
► Registration opens at 8.45am for 9.15am start

19th February will be the first of five planned ACORD Open Innovation Forum events at our new Eastcheap venue, these are free to attend but will be limited to the first 70 to register. The Forum is for anyone who wants to make change happen in our industry. It’s about taking action to face today’s challenges and prepare for the future. We hope to see you there.
