Hold the date. DA Forum Event – November 17th, 11am

LIIBA are liaising with Lloyd’s to offer it’s membership the opportunity to hear about the Lloyd’s delegated authority programme.

Attendees will be provided with a brief background to the work being undertaken on behalf of brokers by LIIBA’s Facilities Committee and Delegated Authority Claims Committee, after which the Lloyd’s DA Programme will provide details of:

  • The Lloyd’s vision for Delegated Authorities and progress to date
  • What Lloyd’s will be delivering as part of Release 1 of DCOM (Delegated Contract and Oversight Manager i.e. BARs and ATLAS replacement)
  • A short demonstration of the optional Contract Builder tool that will be available to brokers
  • What Lloyd’s will be delivering as part of Release 2 of DCOM
  • Update on Delegated Data Manager ‘conditions of trade’ consultation (Previously DA SATS)
  • What can Brokers do to prepare for the changes
  • How can Brokers get involved in the DA Programme

This is an open event for anyone working with delegated authority business and invites / registration detail will be provided next week, as this is being managed directly by Lloyd’s.

However, we wanted to provide members with the opportunity to hold the date in their diaries now. The event is expected to be an hour in duration.

#DiveIn2020 begins tomorrow! Although we’re only one day away from the start of the festival it’s still not too late to register for virtual events across the world. If you haven’t done so already we encourage you to register for events via the Dive In website and share amongst your organisation and networks.

Dive In 2020 will highlight some of the most topical subjects in diversity and inclusion across the world and we’ve highlighted a few events where spaces are still available:

  1. Italy’s event: L’impatto del Covid-19 in ambito D&I: Riflessioni e possibili azioni taking place on 23 September at 17:00 CEST

In questo evento conclusivo, giovedì 24 settembre alle 17.00, Giulia Colombo – Executive Assistant Country President e D&I connector di Chubb in Italia, intervisterà Deborah Sola, Head of Broker Engagement & Sales for CE e Sponsor della Diversity and Inclusion in Continental Europe.

  1. USA’s event: Stop Workplace Harassment: Active Bystander Intervention Training by Hollaback! taking place on 23 September at 12:00 EDT

This session will look at the tools employees need to disrupt those perpetrating harassment using a proven 5D’s methodology: Distract, Delegate, Document, Delay, and Direct.

  1. Indonesia’s event: Enabling Our Role to Stay Inclusive In Organization taking place on 23 September at 10:00 WIT

This session will look at how the way leaders engage with their team and how peer to peer collaboration whist working remotely plays a big part in creating happier and more productive employees.

A full list of events is now available within the Dive In Brochure where you can read more about the festival highlights for this year and hear from some of the key countries and speakers involved within the festival.

We’ve also been working on a “New Normal” video series which has shone a spotlight on Family & Care Responsibility, Mental Health and Race and Ethnicity, just some of the diversity and inclusion areas that have seen the biggest challenges in recent months. The videos aim to recognise where the focus should lie as we enter the “new normal”.

You can view them on Dive In’s new YouTube channel as well as our Vimeo Channel. Please feel free to share these on social media and on internal channels within your organisation.

As always we encourage you to share Dive In festival highlights on social media using the hashtags #DiveIn2020 and #GlobalInclusion and we will do our best to share them

Dive In 2020 starts tomorrow!
